HTR Letter to the Editor:
Vote for anyone but Jim Brey
5:36 PM, Oct 9, 2012

The 25th Assembly District has been and will continue to be represented by someone whose political ideology is opposite of the district. However, Paul Tittl is at least honest with his political philosophy and upfront on what he believes, though I have a much different philosophy from his.

He is a decent and respectable man. In my time with him on the county board, he never back-stabbed or lied in my dealings with him. Jim Brey, on the other hand, has been anything but honest with the citizens of Manitowoc County, whom he has represented and has been affected by his votes. Jim Brey is no different than Mitt Romney and will say or do anything to get a vote, then turn around and either be factually dishonest about how he voted or outright undercut those he is working with.

I initially believed Jim would be good to work with on the county board but then found someone who was the epitome of a typical politician. He is not a Democrat, he is not a moderate, and he is not a liberal; he is for Jim Brey and that is it. It would be a disservice to the 25th District to have a representative such as this and would continue the path it has been on for the last 20 years. This November vote anyone but Jim Brey.
